Allen Keith MacLeod
August 23, 1942 - May 24, 2018
Tribute
On Thursday, May 24th, 2018 Keith passed away after a long battle with cancer with his loving family close by, and his daughter at his side. Keith is survived by his loving wife Sherren of almost 60 years, daughter Robyne (Andrew), son Mark (RaeAnn), son Dale (Kathryn), son Tony (Laurie), plus 12 grandchildren. Also survived by brother Elmer (Helen) and sister Sharon (Len). Pie is meeting up on his journey or wherever you may be (Dad), your Father, Mother and brother Archie. Keith AKA Pie was a large man with a huge presence and an aura of many colours. He could listen, advise and calm you, because he cared, and was definitely the best hugger ever. A huge man that loved to hug and hold the people he felt close to, and once you were in those arms, you felt secure, reassured, and greatly loved. Dad loved to travel with his beautiful wife and spent many winters in the sun. Loved by his children and grandchildren and extended family and many, many friends he made on his life journey. Keith (Pie)’s main raison d’etre was his beloved family. He was also a dog lover, avid news follower, biography lover, and vintage collector. A man of many hats, a volunteer fire fighter, a GGFG cadet, handyman, world traveler and a Telecommunications lineman. Slipped away after a long battle with cancer. He was a tired and beat up soul with nothing left in him to fight. Finally, at peace with no more pain. Many thanks to the pharmacists at London Drugs, Dr. Pretorius, cancer doctors, and above all the Mission Hospice with their compassion and understanding. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Mission Hospice. A Celebration of Life to follow
