Tribute
Gregory “Goose” Clark
January 23rd, 1949 – November 11th, 2019
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Greg Clark after an extended fight with
cancer. Greg passed peacefully with family by his side while under excellent care at the
Christine Morrison Hospice. Greg is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Freda Clark, as
well as his father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Vera Hills, and his brother-in-law Bob Hills.
Greg is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet, his sons Nathan (Rebecca) and Evan (Lisa), his
grandchildren Levi, Amelia and Abigail, his sister Andrea Clark, as well as nephews, nieces and
many other cousins, family members and friends.
Greg, affectionately referred to as “Goose/Grandpa Goose”, was a loving and caring husband
and father who always put his family first. He was a lifelong resident of Mission and a long time
employee for the District of Mission who specialized in operating heavy equipment. If your road
was cleared of snow during the 80s/90s/00s there’s a good chance you have Greg to thank!
Greg loved playing a variety of different sports and continued playing softball and badminton
well into his 60s. A lover of the outdoors, Greg loved his fishing and quad trips as well as
working on his property in Silverdale.
Greg’s calm demeanor and dry wit will be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in early 2020 at Silverdale Hall.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Mission Hospice Society or a charity of your
